At the moment, we're working on our next album Hybrid Automaton, and aiming to get this out June or July 2012, depending on how it goes. We're also rehearsing for some live appearances at the summer festivals (dates TBC) - the live band will include Jude from Underground Zero and our new drummer Dominic Tofield. We are still looking for a keyboard-player - so any likely candidates, please click the link at the top of the page.

16 May 2011 Some of you may have seen that we uploaded the epic track "The Mirror of her Dreams" a week or so ago - this is the final track on the "Lost" album, so it was a bit of a milestone getting this one finished. It's still on our SA page if you want to give it a spin, but at 24 minutes (about 4 "normal" songs in one!), we won't keep it there forever, so don't delay.
"Lost" will be released on 13 June, and we're taking pre-orders through our SA page - this will get you a signed copy in the mail on the morning of the release day - or as soon after as your postperson can manage it.
The special edition CD of "Remnants of Life" (8 page booklet and bonus track) is now sold out - we have none left. No, really.... but, if you missed this very well-reviewed album, you could still do one of the following:
Buy one at the Soundawesome gig this coming weekend - the last few copies will be on-sale there.
Buy one from CD Baby - again, a few copies left there, and a good choice for US fans.
Buy the download - this will remain available from "all good download sites".
Wait for the standard edition CD - we'll have this available in a couple of weeks. This will have a 4-page booklet, and won't include the bonus track, but will still be a 68-minute CD - so not bad for 8 quid.
"Lost" is now just-about mastered, and we're finalising the artwork. One little ritual to complete is to do our "listener test" - which involves inviting our mate Des over to listen to it right through. Des used to perform with Assassins of Silence, so knows and understands what we're driving at - and it's also good for us to listen to it with someone else in the room - sometimes you hear things a little differently when you play them to someone who's not as immersed in the project as you are (try it, fellow musos and you'll see what I mean).

Well.... Transdimension Flight took the top spot in the Soundawesome Most Played chart, and made #2 in Most Voted-for this week, so a pretty pleasing result for us, and a big thankyou to anyone who played and/or voted for this tune.
TDF is, of course, a preview track from our new album Lost, and we're close enough to finishing this now to set a release date, which will be Monday 13 June. If you like what you hear, and want to get those grubby little mitts on the finished article as soon as you can, you can PRE-ORDER from our page. This ensures that you get a CD in your mailbox either on release day, or as soon afterwards as the postie can manage (we'll send them out a day or so before), and we'll personally sign all the pre-ordered copies too - can't say fairer than that.
I've been beavering away over this last extended weekend, finishing some guitar parts and working on the mix for the final track on the album, The Mirror of her Dreams. If you've missed previous blogs, this is a "proper epic", 24-minutes-ish, with HEAPS of stuff in it, including assorted flavours of violin from Cyndee Lee Rule, wonderful spacejazz sax from Erik Michael Schroeder and vocals from Kim Novak (whose striking voice you may remember from our last album Remnants of Life). Oh, and Milo and Dave are on it too...
